I was born and raised on the island, and with the love and support of family and friends, my son Alex and I turned that feeling into something we could share with the world.
Island Frog was born from a simple thought: our island heritage deserves to be celebrated everywhere.
No matter where life takes you — new cities, new coasts, new adventures — there's something about the island spirit that always sticks with you. It's warmth, it's pride, it's culture… and honestly, it's a vibe you just can't shake even if you tried.
Puerto Rico's Tiny Ambassador
For us, the inspiration came straight from Puerto Rico's most iconic little ambassador: the coquí. That tiny frog carries a massive legacy.
"Its nighttime song isn't just a sound — it's a memory, a feeling, a reminder of home. It represents everything we love about the island: nature, resilience, beauty, and the sense of belonging that makes Puerto Rico La Isla del Encanto."
So we created Island Frog™ to carry that feeling with us wherever we go — and to share it with anyone who connects with the ocean, the outdoors, or the easygoing island lifestyle.
Our gear isn't just clothing; it's a way to keep those roots alive. Whether you're on a boardwalk in California, a beach in the Carolinas, or a boat somewhere off Florida's coast, Island Frog gives you a little piece of that island energy to bring along for the ride.
